Rare is it
that I tell you
that I love you
and that I am thankful.
Rare is it
that I find the time to spend
whether home or through a call
just to converse
and be jovial.
It is in these missed
and rare opportunities
do I live in this regret.
As I lay each night,
praying for each soul
and its importance,
I realize that even your life,
aging with each morning,
is just as important.

how I apologize
for such ignorance.

one time this guy told me he thanked God for his wife every morning when he woke up. i was stunned at the part, he lovingly explained to me, that intentional gratitude had in our feelings.
