Nice to meet you. I’m Breanna. I’ve been writing on this blog for over about 15 years Unfortunately, that means it consists of the adult-puberty process– a lot of the emotional ups-and-downs of being a 20something in a city called Chicago, and the here and now. I now reside in Indiana; a bit reluctantly at first, but I now love this little city and the life we have built here.

A note on AI: As someone who has been writing online since the early 2000s, I think it’s important to note that I will never post something with AI-generated content. Meaning, I will never run anything I write through an AI platform to help me. I do not ask AI for ideas to write. As I have always done, I will wait for them to appear with life. I will usually marinate on some topic after listening to a podcast, having a conversation with a friend, or a mere minute interaction with a stranger. However the idea arrives, it is organic. I cherish that I was born to think and feel deeply. Artificial Intelligence could never do that.
