About Me

Blue&Co.853Nice to meet you. I’m Breanna. I’ve been writing on this blog for over a decade, so it mainly consists of the adult-puberty process — a lot of the emotional ups-and-downs of being a 20something in a city called Chicago and the here and now. Honestly, I would be scared to delve in too deep.

I also love feedback. I love to hear how you felt when reading my words. Could you relate? Throw a “me too” at me. I promise I catch them.

  1. I am new to the blog, which I found through a post on Instagram, and have been enjoying reading your mind and heart ever since. I have a visceral reaction to your words as it seems our minds work similarly. I appreciate your transparency and courage so much! You inspire me to be more open and vulnerable, as I’m sure so many of your other readers have felt the same way. Thank you!

Fun fact: You actually prayed for me once after service, when I was completely broken and hopeless.
Update: Still seem pretty broken, but functional and hopeful. The Lord is beginning to reveal His purposes, which makes it all worth it!

    Since you like book suggestions:
Book I’m reading now & LOVE: “Discerning the Voice of God”, by Priscilla Shirer

As I read one of our blog posts, I thought of another book. This book changed the course of my life because it opened my eyes to realities I had never known personally. This is the book that ignited a fire in me and dictated my path. After this there were soooo many other books that I’d love to share, but this was the one that started it, and it still seems relevant today even though it was written 15 years ago.
