What is it about life’s little details?
They seem to wiggle themselves,
into the messy, the mundane, the everyday.
I am still on the journey to finding balance.
What to let in, what to silence.
Because if there’s a fear of anything,
it’s a fear to let some darkness override.
Though, I’ve heard of a sadness you’re allowed to sit with.
It’s not one that ruptures,
but one that certainly urges to burrow deep.
Only to reach a certain treasure that was hidden all along.
And I guess that’s how it’s best described on a good day.
Knowing that it is a temporary sadness
that carries on along in the front seat.
Its navigation to help me learning, knowing deeper joy.
Right? Right.
